Our capabilities are driven by our research platform, which has fundamental, in-house research as a key component, but also includes thematic, ESG-focused, quantitative, geopolitical, credit, investigative and private-market research. This approach leads, we think, to better investment decisions.

We believe that helping our clients achieve their goals necessitates a highly active, innovative, engaged and investment-led approach. We seek to drive positive change through voting and continuing engagement with companies, and more broadly with the development of best practices, standards and regulations.

With offices in London, New York, Boston, San Francisco and Tokyo, Newton manages £83.9 billion of assets (as at 31 December 2023). We provide investment management services to institutional clients, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, charities, insurance companies, registered mutual funds, other pooled investment vehicles and institutions, and, via BNY Mellon, to individuals.
